Cardboard Bale House
You’ve probably seen straw bale homes, but have you every heard of a cardboard bale home? This was news to me, and seems like a clever way to reuse refuse; but I think I would stucco mine.
Portland Tiny Homes
Tammy Strobel from RowdyKittens just did a guest post on Tiny House Blog about these great little houses in Portland. They were built by Jeff and Brad who make an extra effort to reuse and recycle while creating these tiny habitable works of art.
Tiny Free House Update
I spent another two days up at the family farm working on my Tiny Free House. As you can see I screwed the pallet roof boards to the trusses and it’s looking a lot more like a house. My next steps will be to put shingles on the roof, if I can find something suitable, or board up the front wall with milled pallet boards.
