Tammy & Logan on Peak Moment Television
Tammy and Logan talk about the reasons they chose to live a simple minimalist life with the folks from Peak Moment Television. One of the side effects of living a simple, car-free life has been complete debt reduction and the savings to build their own tiny home.
Shelter 2.0
One of the most amazing designs I’ve seen recently for a prefab structure is Shelter 2.0. It was designed by Robert Bridges and Bill Young and is intended to be easily assembled from a small set of standardized prefabricated pieces. They’ve also released the designs under a creative commons license to make it easier for people to make use of this great new solution.

FLKS by Kapteinbolt
One of my regular readers, Mark, sent this to me. It’s an incredibly simple flat folding plywood work space designed by Dutch designers Kapteinbolt. I really want to try building some stuff like this; there are some really inspiring space saving ideas here. Thanks again Mark!
Tarsha’s Tiny House Update
Tarsha and her family have been making good progress on her tiny house. The shell is mostly complete and now ready for finishing up. Next up is plumbing, heat, and power.
Cape Russell Pavillion by Sanders Pace Architecture
It’s always interesting to see what architectural firms come up with when tasked to design small structures. This one was designed by Sanders Pace Architecture. Their client wanted an off-the-grid structure for weekend use. I think the exterior texture is really incredible as well as the dramatic projecting roofline.
