two-sustainable-solar-shedsI’ve been fun at Tiny House Design imagining habitable shed clusters. This week I drew a simple two shed design with rain water collection, solar panels, and a small 8′ by 8′ deck that provides some exterior living space. As usual I got a lot of great feedback from readers on the design and now I’m working on a two shed passive solar dog-trot house.

  1. Bill says:

i am working on a connector for these cluster sheds that resembles the old pullman car connectors. this cluster idea is great, but here in the northeast it would be nice to have access to certain sheds in the winter months without ever going outdoors. the idea is to make these light weight, movable, accordion style with a clear material.

  2. What an innovative idea. In good weather it could be retracted. Good thinking.
